An ordinance of the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament. : That all the temporall livings, dignities, and ecclesisticall promotions belonging unto William Lord Arch-bishoppe of Canterbury, be forthwith sequestered by and unto the Parliament, and that he shall be suspended untill he be either convicted or acquitted of high treason, which he stands now accused. And that during the suspention and sequestration, his jurisdiction shall be exercised by his vicar-generall, and other his inferior judges and officers. Die Sabbathi, 10. Junii, 1643.
