A distinguished Russian pianist Igor Nikonovich, a pupil of Henry Neighaus and a friend of Sofronitsky, plays pieces by Scriabin; among them - some rarely performed works of the great Russian composer as well as most popular ones. Nikonovich is especially famous for his Scriabin interpretations.
