Published 1651Table of Contents: “…A relation of proceedings against ambassadors who have miscarried themselves, and exceeded their commission -- That the kings of England have been pleased usually to consult with their peers in the great council, and commons in Parliament, of marriage, peace, and war -- That the soveraigns person is required in the great councells, or assemblies of the state, as well at the consultations as at the couclusions [sic] -- A discourse of the lawfullnes of combats to be performed in the presence of the king, or the constable and marshall of England -- A breif [sic] abstract of the question of precedencie between England and Spaine -- A remonstrance of the treaties of amity and marriage ... of the house of Austria and Spain, with the Kings of England, to advance themselves to the monarchy of Europe.…”
