Item Description:The bill to amend An act to establish an uniform rule of naturalization (Evans 27899) was originated in the House of Representatives on December 22, 1794. Debates on the amendments proposed were held between December 22 and January 6, 1795, when the bill was replaced by A bill to establish an uniform rule of naturalization, and to repeal the act heretofore passed on that subject (Bristol B9351).
