We look at 4 key strategies to overcome the barriers: - offering subsidised leadership training targeted at under-represented groups - developing a new model of leadership - recruiting beyond traditional routes - raising the number of college-educated black and Hispanic leaders of the future. We're seeing evidence that there's tremendous power in having strong African-American and Latino leaders in our schools, says Tim Knowles of Chicago's Urban Education Institute. | ||
