Determination of extractives in biomass laboratory analytical procedure (LAP) : issue date, 7/17/2005 /
It is necessary to remove non-structural material from biomass prior to analysis to prevent interference with later analytical steps. This procedure uses a two-step extraction process to remove water soluble and ethanol soluble material.
